Mrinmoyee Deb (b. 1979) completed her Graduation in Indian Painting from Government College of Art and Craft, Calcutta, University of Calcutta and Masters in History of Art from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. She has been teaching History of Art in various institutes and working in various research projects. She formerly worked as Research Assistant in Lalit Kala Akademi’s Project, ‘Preservance and Digitization of Art Activities during Durga Puja in Kolkata’. She’s also engaged with children’s literature and has recently worked on Upendrakishore Raychowdhury’s ‘Tuntunir Boi’. She has participated in various national and international seminars and published articles in art magazines and books.
Swapna Biswas : (b : ) has received her graduate and post graduate degree in painting from Kala Bhavana , Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan and she has also received another post graduate degree in Museology from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda. She is currently pursuing PhD from the University of Rajastrhan, Jaipur. She is an artist and she has showcased her art works in renowned national and international galleries, museums and auction houses like Seoul Auction House, South Korea, Herbart Museum and Gallery, UK, Kalakriti Art gallery Hyderabad and Reliance Greens Jamnagar. She is a recipient of the prestigious Elizabeth Greenshield award, she subsequently received numerous national awards and fellowships like National Scholarship from the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India and UGC-JRF. She has also remained trainee at Salar Jung Museum, Hyderabad and Natural History Museum, Bhopal. Presently she is working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Painting.
Soujit Das (b.1985) has received his graduate and post-graduate degrees in History of Art from Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati, Santiniketan. He is currently pursuing his doctoral studies from Dept. of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Roorkee. His primary area of research is: ‘Cross Cultural Artistic Encounters in Early Modern India’. His other areas of academic interest include Indian Temple Architecture and the Art of the Book. He has formerly taught at Amity University Noida and has also worked as a teaching assistant at Dept. of Arch. & Plng.,IIT Roorkee. He has participated in national and international conferences, published several research papers and also have a book to his credit.
Pallab Das (b. 1973) had been groomed in art by two great institutions. He received his bachelors degree from Government College of Art and Craft (1994-1999) and completed his post-graduate studies from Kala Bhavana, Visava Bharati, Santiniketan (1999-2001). He has represented India as an Indian Ceramic Artist in several international events. In 2015 he was invited as a ceramic artist in a workshop cum seminar in Beijing. In 2016, he was invited in Tunisia, North Africa for a workshop and exhibition. In 2019 he represented India in the International Raku Symposium held in Thailand. He has also exhibited his work in Egypt and Dhaka amongst other international venues. He is a recipient of seven awards and has over 75 group shows to his credit. His works are in various national and international collections.
Muktinath Mondal (b.1982), has finished post graduation Chhattisgarh, from SN School, Hyderabad, India. Muktinath in the year 2007.He has exhibited and participated extensively, few of his important exhibitions are –Ecavation/Eruption, curated by Yashodhara Dalmia, Vadehra Art Galllery, New Delhi 2015, Tagore’s Post Office curated by Natasha Jinwala and Vivian Ziherl at NeueGesellscaft fur Bildende Kunst, Berlin 2014, The pssibility of Being, curated by Rahul Bhattacharya at Exhibit 320, New Delhi, Baroda at cross roads-paths and pathways, curated by Parnab Mukherjee, Birla Academy of Art and Culture, Kolkata 2013, Secret life of plants, curated by Maya Kovskaya at Exhibit320, 2012, The Contemporary Sultanate, curated by Veeranganakumari Solanki, 2012, Solo exhibit Fresh from Tulia, at Exhibit320, New Delhi, 2011, Muktinath has received several scholarships and awards and has been part of many residencies and camps. He has also been showing at Fairs like – India Art Fair, Art Chennai, Art HK, Sh Contemporary .

He has participated in National & International Seminars & Conferences. He has also participated in several group and Solo Exhibitions in India and abroad .
Mrinal Kanti Gayen : (b 1971) has obtained his Masters in Visual Arts in Sculpture from the Government College of Art and Craft, Calcutta. He has in his credit six solo exhibitions. His works have been exhibited in several National and International exhibitions. He is recipient of many awards including National Award from Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi. He has authored a book in Bengali on his childhood reminiscences on art. His views on art was aired in All India Radio, Akashvani Maitree.
Lipika Bala Chakraborty (b.1977) has received her B.F.A & M.F.A ( Graduate & Post Graduate degree) in Textile Design from Kala-Bhavana ,Visva-Bharati University , Santiniketan. She is currently pursuing her Doctoral studies from Calcutta University. Her Research related papers published in several Journals. She has received National Scholarship from Ministry of Human Resource, Govt. of India . She has completed Minor Research Project in Humanities & Social science under UGC. She has worked as an Artist cum Designer at Shingora International, Ludhiana ,Punjab & Weavetex Overseas, New-Delhi .She has worked as a Lecturer at IFA, ModiNagar ,U.P. She has participated in various Exhibitions (India & Abroad).She has also participated in National & International Seminars & Conferences.
Krishanu Nath (b.1987) has received his B.V.A and M.V.A degree in Painting from Government College of Art and Craft, Calcutta. He has completed his M. Phil in Visual Studies from School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Both as an art practitioner and researcher his interest revolves around Gender and Body Politics. He also holds interest in Curatorial interventions in South Asian context and the emergence of alternative exhibitory sites in contemporary times. Besides participating in exhibitions and workshops he has also presented papers on Visual Studies at international and national conferences.
Jyotirmay Das (b. 1985) has received his graduate (BFA) and Post graduate (MFA) degrees from the Department of Painting, Kala-Bhavana, Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan. He also qualified UGC-NET with JRF. He is currently pursuing Ph.D from the Department of Painting, Kala-Bhavana, Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan. His research focuses on Colonial artistic practices from Bengal during the late 18th century to late 19th century.
Bikas Karmakar (b. 1982) has received his graduate and post graduate degree from Department of Painting, Kala Bhavan, Visva Bharati, Santiniketan. He is currently pursuing his doctoral studies from Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIt Roorkee. His area of research interests include Art and Architecture of Bengal. He has previously taught at the Dept. of Painting, Institute of Fine Arts, Modinagar. He has been a receipient of Aifacs Award (2014), National Award of Camel Art Foundation (2015) and has also received the Euro Art Award (2015). He has participated in several exhibitions, workshops, seminars and conferences. He has published few research papers in reputed journals.
Pradip Mondal : ( b : 1977 ) has completed his post graduate in the department of Modelling and Sculpture at Government College of Art and Craft, Calcutta in 2004. He has participated in ‘Nationals’ and group shows in India to showcase his work. Regularly. 54th National Exhibition of Art 2012, International Society for Intercultural Studies and Research are some the places where he has showcased his work successfully. He has received a number of honorary awards and merits .’National Award’ for best sculpture (2012), West Bengal State Award (2015) are to his name. He has conducted a number of ‘National Workshops’ in Kolkata and Assam, Hyderabad,and New Delhi simultaneously .Presently he is working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Modelling and sculpture.
Somnath Roy : ( b : 1958 ) has completed his diploma in the department of Commercial Art at Government College of Art and Craft, Calcutta in 1983.He has worked in some of the finest advertising agencies like ‘Vivid India’ ,‘Chaitra Leo Brunett’ in Delhi from 1983 to1989 actively. Later he founded an advertising agency on his own in the name ‘Graphic Concept’ in Kolkata in the late 90s . He has participated in several ‘National Group Shows’ and has showcased his work in Kolkata and New Delhi. Presently he has been working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Graphic Design /Applied Art.

Partha Protim Gayen : (b : 1988) has completed his B.V.A. and M.V.A. in Modelling & Sculpture from Govt. College of Art & Craft, Calcutta, and also gets his second M.V.A. in Art History, Aesthetics and Criticism from Faculty of Fine Arts, M. S. University, Baroda. He also participated in various Prestigious Annuals, group exhibitions in all over India, like AIFACS, PDAF, & Bombay Art Society, Mumbai, Birla Art & Culture, Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata etc. He achieved many prestigious Awards like AIFACS, including National Scholarship, from Ministry of Culture Govt. of India, along with Chintamoni Kar Scholarship, Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation awards. Presently has been working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Modelling and Sculpture.

Tanmoy Banerjee : ( b :1967) has received his post diploma in Fine Arts from Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati University 1996. He has participated in many prestigious ‘Biennales’, ‘Nationals’ and ‘International’ shows in India and abroad. He has housed three solo exhibitions in Calcutta, Mumbai and New Delhi respectively. International Biennale exhibition in Beijing (2015),International Triennale Exhibition Bangkok, Thailand (2008, 2011, 2015, 2019) are some the shows where he has successfully showcased his work. He has received a number of honorary awards and merits and has showcased his works regularly in several groups shows all over India. He has conducted a number of ‘Art Camps’in Kolkata and Puducherry .Presently he is working as an Associate Professor in the department of Modelling and Sculpture.

Arup Kumar Das( b: 1969) has received his post graduate degree in the field of Graphic Design /Applied Art from Government College of Art and Craft,Calcutta in 2000 .He has worked in some of the reputed advertising agencies in Kolkata and Delhi. Moreover, he has worked as a full time lecturer at the ‘College of Design’ under Burdwan University. He has participated in many prestigious ‘Biennales’ like 6th Beijing International Art Biennale 2015,1st International Biennial Print Lalit Kala Academy New Delhi 2018 ,9thInternational Biennial of Print Art 2011 at Bharat Bhavan Bhopal M.P.,18th Asian Art Biennale Bangladesh 2018 – Dhaka to name a few. He has received a number of honorary awards and merits and has showcased his works regularly in several groups shows. Cultural History Of Kolkata and its allied regions has been his area of interest .He has published a number of articles in reputed journals. Presently he is working as an Assistant Professor and department In-charge in the mentioned department.
